RVNA Board Minutes

The meeting was called to order by Vicki Hibbert at 7:25pm. Attending were Vicki Hibbert, Anne Pollard, Anita Bryant, Kathy Cooper, Lana Taylor, Barbara Maxwell, Ray Luth, Gary Kuck, Erin Johnson and Debi Sanditen.

Vicki explained the required change to our by-laws that is required before we can achieve 501(c)3 status. Specifically, where our funds are to go if RVNA dissolves. The Board recommended the Parks Department with funds to be earmarked for Stick Ball Park. The required 25 households were not present at the General Meeting. All Board members are to be sure to bring one other area resident.

The general meeting program will also include discussion of a Garden Club, Gardening Consultant or other way to work together to beautify our neighborhood.

The block party was set for Sept 15, 2007 on the lawn at McBirney. We hope to raise money with food sales (Scott Garrison will do BBQ). Ray Luth is in charge of o0ld fashioned entertainment and games; Vicki Hibbert will coordinate food and drinks, Ann Pollard will handle the location and music.

Meeting was adjourned at 8:10pm.
