RVNA General Meeting Minutes
The meeting was called to order by Vicki Hibbert at 7:00pm at the Greek Church meeting hall.
A vote was held and the amendment to the bylaws was passed allowing RVNA to comply with requirements for 501(c)3 designation. It was passed unanimously by representatives of 25 households.
Lucky Lemons shared the official letter regarding our petition for Historic Designation that will be presented at the state level in Oklahoma City on July 19th.
Doretta Karns introduced the Garden Club. Suggestions included signs for a traveling "Yard of the Month" (nicely made in wrought iron), a plant exchange, and pictures on the website.
Ray Luth reported a balance of $1215.43 plus $12.00 received in July donations.
Block Party discussion: two parties will be held. A picnic-style on Sept 15 for families on the lawn of the McBirney Mansion during the day, and one for adults in October with a donation for attendance requested. Scott Garrison will provide BBQ and RVNA will charge as a fund-raiser.
