Vicki opened discussion of the sidewalks along Boulder at 18th on the property owned by Veterans LLP. She has been in contact with the City and Parks Department regarding the grading, erosion, and missing retaining wall.
A general discussion was held regarding our bylaws and board members missing meetings. We need active board members. We agreed that board members who have missed three meetings be offered the opportunity of taking a leave of absence and then being the invited to return when the next opening becomes available. We also discussed neighborhood diversity and that no two board members should reside at the same address.
Announcements included the new Nature Works statue and dedication. Street widening, sidewalk replacement and paving will be started soon on Elwood from 11th to Denver.
Anita Bryant has arranged with the Housing Authority for a presentation at the June meeting about Section 8 qualifications for individuals and properties.
We all congratulated Vicki on expecting a baby on November 5th. Meeting was adjourned at 8:05pm.
