May 7, 2007 General Meeting Minutes

Called to order by Vicki Hibbert at 7:00pm. Guest speaker Amanda DeKort of the City Planning Commission gave us a background in history, current status and plans for a new Master Plan. It will be followed by the City Council, Public Works, etc.

We were invited to go the the website PlaniTulsa.org to submit our ideas on setting goals. Amanda solicited suggestions from those attending. We were also invited to the May 14th District 4 meeting at TU and the May 19th Preservation Center party.

We were advised of street closings for Tulsa Tough on June 1, 2, 3. The RVNA will not be manning a booth as plans for a BBQ fell through.

It was also reported that the RNVA will need to change our bylaws to comply with 501 (C)3 requirements and 25 people must be present to approve the change.

Announcement: The Perryman house will apply for a variance to restore the tower. The home was built in 1886 and moved onto the present site.

Treasurer report: $1,186.43.

Vicki announced that the Vision 2025 projects for RVNA are now official. Meeting was adjourned at 8:15pm.
