On the table: Riverview -shirts and other items on the web site, architecture or garden tours, New Business: Storm Clean up: city crews had promised to work Riverview until complete. The city has recently entered into a contract with an Atlanta company to remove debris that negates the original promise, but the contract conditions require the company to complete debris removal within 60 days and to make several sweeps through the city. Recently crews have removed what are considered dangerous hanging limbs from street side trees and debris removal is promised for our neighborhood over the next two weeks. Residents should move limbs from their property to the curb side for removal, being careful not to invade the streets. Clean up teams will not remove debris from the property. If residents are aware of any neighbors with a hardship that prevents them from removing debris, they should contact Ron Miller and volunteer assistance will be provided. *Possible Cheyenne Ave Demolition: It was reported that one of our historic homes could be targeted for demolition. More information and contacts are needed to confirm. We will continue to monitor and report as new information is received.
