Crestview Manor

1830 South Cheyenne Ave

Crestview Manor was a gift from Robert McFarlin to his daughter Pauline. This Italian Renaissance house was built in 1919 and was architected by Barnett-Haynes-Barnett of St Louis. They also designed the McFarlin house and the McFarlin Building at 5th and Main in Downtown Tulsa.

This three story stucco and brick home features winged porches with heavy square columns and a tile deck, The clay roof is supported by ornate eaves with ornate brackets. The facade of the building opens to all sides with exterior French doors. The formal facade repeats the balance with two wrought iron balconies flanking a large front window that once served as a door. The upstairs sun room opens to a view of the Arkansas River.
