14th and Guthrie

Clinton-Hardy House
1322 S Guthrie Avenue
Built in 1922 with a strong New England flavor and
boasting lapped siding, gabled roof and simple rectangular shape that evoke an
image of 18th century America. This was one of the first homes built on the
bluff overlooking the Arkansas river and was designed by architect George
Winkler, who rarely did residential architecture. The Skellys, McBirneys and
other prominent oil barons were frequent guests in the house. Amelia Earhart was
a guest in 1934

Patrick M. Kerr House
1312 S. Guthrie Avenue
This Spanish eclectic house was built by Patrick M.
Kerr, a wealthy oil refiner only eight years before losing his fortune

Greek Orthodox Church
13th and Guthrie Avenue
The western area of Riverview developed a substantial
ethnic character with the settlement of a large number of Greek immigrants. The
Greek community established the Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church at 1222 South
Guthrie, but it was demolished to make way for the Broken Arrow Expressway
expansion in 1968
and the new church was built at the current location. Each year the church hosts a
Greek Festival in September and the public is invited to tour this beautiful and
ornate church.
